MUGLA Wastewater Project

The project objective is to improve and sustain environmental conditions and reduce health hazards through eliminating deficiencies in the collection and disposal of wastewater in Mugla province.

Mugla Province stretches along Turkey’s Aegean coast and encompasses the main tourist area of Turkey along the Mediterranean Sea. To achieve the projects objectives and to improve water quality of the Mediterranean Sea the following measures are to be implemented:

  • Turgutreis WWTP Construction and Deep-Sea Outfall (Capacity: 37.000 m3/d)
  • Bodrum Sewerage Network Construction (100 km)
  • Rehabilitation of 28 Existing Wastewater Treatment Plants
  • Marmaris New WWTP Construction and Deep-Sea Outfall (Capacity: 60.000 m3/ d)
  • Fethiye Hisarönü and Ovacık Sewerage Network Construction (100 km)
  • Fethiye Sewerage Collectors Construction (25 km)
