INTRODUCTION

CES Consulting Engineers Salzgitter GmbH is an independent consulting engineering company with worldwide experience based in Braunschweig, Germany. CES offers solutions to complex multidisciplinary engineering tasks for all civil engineering and related sectors. CES renders services ranging from preliminary investigations to construction supervision and cost controlling, training of the clients‘ staff, advisory services in the operation and maintenance of installations, as well as the organization and strengthening of public authorities and institutions. CES works mainly in the field of development cooperation and implements infrastructure projects for national high-end clients (ministries and line authorities) funded by international donors.

CES is looking for an experienced International Project Manager and/or Chief Resident Engineer (f/m/d) for an upcoming proposal for the project “Integrated Regional Development Programme – Implementation Consultant” in Albania.

PROJECT AND JOB DESCRIPTION

The programme objective is to enhance the living conditions of the local population and foster regional economic growth in Selected Albanian Municipalities by sustainable, environment- and climate friendly infrastructure investments.

The programme includes measures grouped in the following components:

1. Integrated Infrastructure & Urban and rural Upgrading (IIURU)
2. Improvement of infrastructure in touristic sites (IIT)

The project measures shall be implemented in the Municipalities of Pogradec at Lake Ohrid and Pustec at Lake Prespa.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Master’s degree in architecture, civil engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience.
• Experience as Project Manager and/or Chief Resident Engineer on IFI funded projects, preferably KfW-funded projects
• Experience in managing similar assignments (urban and touristic infrastructure, urban and landscape planning) as Project Manager and/or Chief Resident Engineer
• Experience with KfW’s Sustainability Guidelines and ESHS regulations
• Experience in the Western Balkans region would be an asset.
